About Me
For more than 20 years, I’ve devoted my life to walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate some of their hardest seasons. My journey has primarily centered in Kandiyohi County, where I spent fifteen years working as a school social worker before expanding into mental health therapy and trauma‑informed care. Over time, my passion for whole‑person healing—mind, body, and soul—led me to broaden my training, deepen my faith‑based approach, and ultimately open Amazing Grace Coaching & Counseling LLC, my online private practice.
I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) and am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW). My professional development has always been guided by a desire to offer practical skills paired with compassionate, grace‑filled support. I’m certified as a:
-
Trauma-Sensitive Holy Yoga Instructor
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapist (DBT)
-
Solution-Focused Brief Therapist (SFBT)
-
Integrative Mental Health Professional
-
Life Coach
These specialties allow me to blend clinical expertise with spiritual grounding and somatic awareness, creating a holistic experience for clients who desire more than traditional talk therapy.

Who I Am Beyond My Credentials
Outside of my professional calling, I’m someone who truly comes alive outdoors. I love being in the sunshine, taking long walks or short runs, and playing recreational volleyball just for fun and connection. Family is at the center of my world, and I’m their biggest supporter—celebrating their academic efforts, athletic pursuits, and all the ways they challenge themselves to grow in character.
I openly admit that cooking is not my passion—you’ll never catch me in the kitchen unless I absolutely have to be—but trying new foods is something I wholeheartedly enjoy. Over the years, I’ve also delighted in hobby farming, caring for everything from chickens and ducks to pheasants, dogs, cats, and rabbits. Those experiences grounded me and gave me a deep appreciation for simplicity, responsibility, and the beauty of nurturing living things.
With my kids transitioning into adulthood in the coming years, I’m savoring this season of life. It’s a meaningful time of rediscovery, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to enjoy more intentional time with my husband as we embrace new rhythms, new freedoms, and the next chapter of our family’s story.
Why I Do What I Do
I believe every person deserves a place where they feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. My mission is to help individuals reconnect with their God-given worth, break free from patterns that no longer serve them, and step boldly into a life filled with purpose, peace, and renewed strength. Through a combination of clinical skill, holistic care, and faith-led compassion, I strive to create a safe space where healing, hope, and transformation can flourish.
